Raised up North.
After landing a 2:1 in Advertising and Media at Northumbria Uni, I was hired by Drummond Central, a strategic marketing, creative and digital agency based in Newcastle upon Tyne. DC was responsible for pioneering live odds with global brand bet365 and making a splash with #DrummondPuddleWatch – a viral sensation that broke the internet twice and sent Twitter’s share price soaring.
In my time there, I worked as an Account Manager on a whole host of high-profile accounts such as bet365 and SCFC. Acting as a brand guardian for the world's favourite online sportsbetting brand, we orchestrated integrated campaigns across TV, social, print and press platforms, and adapted for audiences worldwide.
2016-2021
In my first year as a freelancer, I flew to the US twice whilst working for US-based Marketing and Consultancy Firm, MG. Originally hired as a Personal Assistant to the CEO, I immersed myself in the business and a new culture. After just over one year, I was offered the role of Client Services Director.
Constantly pushing projects forward and spotting opportunities for business growth, I recruited and headed up a talented team of freelance creatives, so that MG could expand its marketing services. I became responsible for the six largest accounts in the agency, and lead both creative and consulting teams to deliver brand campaigns.
2021-2022
I'm currently working as a Partnerships Executive managing the relationship between PokerStars and Oracle Red Bull Racing. In November, we'll be heading to Vegas - the home of entertainment and gaming - as PokerStars will be hosting their biggest live event series yet. The Vegas Takeover will include the return of their North American Poker Tour, the Red Spade Pass Vegas Experience, Live Daily Charity Events, and brand activations during the Vegas Grand Prix.
2023-Present
Calm is my middle name.
When all about me are losing their heads, I’m an excellent peacemaker. I can hold my own in a busy agency environment and no job is above or below me. I can give orders. I can take orders. And when it comes to writing difficult emails and having tricky conversations, no sweat – I’ve got it.
Hailing from the North East, I like to think I’m one of life’s grafters. But when I'm not working, or planning my friends' hen-do's, 30th's or baby showers, I love long walks by the sea. And an overpriced coffee, of course. That is my heaven.
